I collaborate with choreographers, directors, and other designers to enlighten the stories told in dance and theatre. As I sculpt a space with light and shadow, I support the stories as they come alive.
I grew up in Denver, Colorado and earned my BA in Theatre Arts (Design/Technology) with a minor in Dance from Colorado Mesa University (CMU). My theatrical work began with Phamaly Theatre Company where I worked for three years as a lighting intern and Assistant Lighting Designer for Stephen D. Mazzeno. While at CMU, in addition to the productions I worked on for my degree, I designed for the Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra as well as the Grand Junction Rockestra. In 2014, I worked as a production intern for the American Dance Festival and the following year joined the staff as the Master Electrician at the Reynolds Industries Theatre . Currently I am employed as the Master Electrician at the PACE Center in Parker, Colorado. When not working at PACE I can be found working with the Vail Dance Festival, Wonderbound Dance Company, Canyon Concert Ballet, Zikr Dance Ensemble, or APEX Dance. I love the art community in the Denver Metro area and I look forward to encountering more work opportunities as the community continues to grow and thrive.
